Caligae Infernis from Devil Made Me Do It

Roman legionaires wore a type of wrap around sandal called the Caligae. These nifty wrap boot/shoes (Chari tells me they are shoes and not a boot and I think they are boots but regardless they are cool -- whatever it is they are) will not make you want to march off to war but on the off-hand chance that is your goal, you will definitely get there stylishly. The leather straps come in 12 different colors and the steel has a color change script so the color combinations, while not endless, are probably more than you want to mess with after 15 minutes of way too much fun.

These are priced at 200 a pair. She doesn't have the fat pack out yet -- I'll definitely get on her about that. In the meantime if you want a fat pack contact me in-world and I'll cut you some kind of deal for all 12 colors. Available at the DMMDI outlet in the Dark Eden Mall or the DMMDI main store in Brithys.

Kanzashi from Ookami Ningen

Very ornate kanzashi often adorned geisha or high class courtesans (Oiran) as jewelry really wasn't worn. While these are great for Japanese role play they are also a great way to dramatically enhance a simple hairdo for a show stopper look.
They come in 8 color combos and are transfer only.

The colors are gold, gold/pink, gold/purple, gold/red, silver, silver/pink. silver/purple and silver/red and only 75L each.

Available now at the Ookami Ningen outlet in the Dark Eden mall or at the Ookami Ningen main store in Crimson.

Latex Kimonos from Ookami Ningen

These are a little departure form the norm for Zorena but I saw one in real life and asked her to make them because she loves me. So she did. And they are really sooper cool. They came out about a week ago but as most of you know I was really involved in the SLCC and so I haven't had time to devote to Zore or Dark Eden or... well anyone outside of the SLCC really. But its over and I'm back!

The kimonos come in black and white and I have been begging her to add a few other colors.

The parasol is scripted with a pose and a few tiny raindrops that bounce on the surface of it. Sculpted dahlias adorn the headpiece and obi. The sleeves and train are both flexible.

Set includes 13 pieces. Shirt, skirt, pants, collar, obi, geta base, pair of geta, pair of sleeves, headpiece, skirt train, and parasol. the permissions are mod/no copy/tranfser and it sells for 300L.

Available from Ookami Ningen in the Dark Eden mall or at the Ookami Ningen main store in Crimson.

A slew of new items from Devil Made Me Do It

I've been remiss in posting these new updates from Devil Made Me Do It. So let me get right to it. First up is the Forked Tentacle Flexy Tongue. Available in five colors:

Next up is some jewelry. Chari has redone her necklace with a new animated texture. The close up really doesn't do it justice.

She's also redone her cross nipple chains with a color change script and added the animated texture to the cross.

I don't know if I've blogged about the Jingasa hats before but they are things of immense beauty and deserve another mention if I have. These orientally themed hats come in 8 different colors and flip up onto the head or back onto the back at a touch. They look marvelous coupled with Chari's boots which I've blogged about before.

Last but certainly not least is the awesome neck brace. It comes in 7 different versions plus a color-change version.

All items are available at the Devil Made Me Do It main store in Brithys or at their satellite shop in the Dark Eden Mall.

Ikebana from Ookami Ningen

Every once in a while, Zore takes a break and makes these stunningly beautiful ikebanas. She's just released four more and I'll let the pics speak for themselves. Available at Ookami Ningen and priced at L$50 each.

The Midnight Dalliance from Creative Kaoz

New from Creative Kaoz is the Midnight Dalliance set from Dana Archer.

Once upon a time Sasy Scarborough over at Appearance Mode wondered what we fed our designers over at Dark Eden that they kept coming out with such cool prim work. I'm beginning to wonder myself and I work there. Dana has really put together a marvelous collection and its very well done. That said, the prims are made for her shape so there's probably a bit of fiddling involved in making everything work together. But not to worry! Dana has released her shape for free so you can either wear that and fiddle with the face or just grab the measurements from the accompanying notecard and do the adjustments to your shape if you don't like messing with prims. You can also see ahead of time whether or not this is something you want to purchase given your shape and your ability to adjust prims.

The Midnight Dalliance is 34 pieces total and can be purchased for L$175. There are 3 different colors of gloves and stockings, 2 different colors of skirt, 2 colors of hat in 2 different sizes, and much more. This is available at the Creative Kaoz Main Store in Sylvina or in the Dark Eden Mall outlet.

Hanabi -- New from Ookami Ningen

Hanabi means flowers of fire in Japanese. Ookami Ningen released the new Hanabi outfit on Friday and I'm just now getting around to blogging it. The textures are hand drawn satin and the hair kanzashi has a little fire lilly on top. Way cute. The outfit retails for L$200 and has 8 pieces which includes the geta shoes and hair kanzashi.

Available at the Ookami Ningen main store in Crimson or the outlet in the Dark Eden Mall

New stuffs at Ookami Ningen

Four new offerings from Ookami Ningen. The first two are the Urban Gothic Kimonos, done in a darker, more punk style than her previous kimonos. The Urban Gothic Black has the flame motif on a black background and the Urban Gothic Red has the same flame motif on a red background. Both are beautiful and done in Zorena's handdrawn satin textures and include everything pictured (ok not hair and skins, but the shoes, hair ornaments, etc.)

Next up are re-makes of her Wolven series dresses: the Wolven Lolita and the more formal Wolven Moonlight. They both feature new, upgraded, hand-drawn fur textures. Both are flexi now. The Wolven Moonlight also features a new hand-drawn lace top.

All items are on sale at Ookami Ningen in Crimson or in the Dark Eden Mall.

Ookami Ningen Grand Opening Sale!

In addition to our Grand Opening Event, Ookami Ningen is having a weekend long sale. Over 100 items are 50% off. We also have the wall of freebies which will be available all weekend long. I'll let the sign that Zorena did speak for the rest. This is at the Ookami Ningen Crimson location only.

Ookami Ningen Grand Opening Event

Ookami Ningen moved to Crimson a few weeks ago but its only been now that we have had time to do a Grand Opening Event. We are pleased to announce that the amazing Chronic Skronski has agreed to perform one of his last shows (for a while anyway) at our Grand Opening. In addition, the Metal Mayhem outfit for women and the Hellenic Magister White for men will be available totally free during the event -- you must get them from Zorena herself though :) Additionally we will have a wall of free stuff up for the entire weekend. This is at the Crimson store only. The free stuffs (and the sales stuffs that I will blog about next) are not available in the Dark Eden store. Here's an SLURL to get you there faster: Ookami Ningen in Crimson

I'll let the ad that Zore did speak for the rest of the event.

Metal Mayhem from Ookami Ningen

And now for something completely different. This metal number is kind of punky gothy and a real departure from anything Zorena's done before.

The entire outfit is 17 pieces total. It can be worn with our without the breastplate armor and with or without the adorable little demon monkeh shoulder piece. Available at Ookami Ningen in Crimson or in the Dark Eden Mall.

Blossom Kimonos by Ookami Ningen

These are truly works of beauty. Each texture is lovingly handcrafted by Zorena -- twice! cause SL made her computer go boom and photoshop lost the textures the first time around. There are four sets: Lily Blossom, Peony Blossom, Rose Blossom and Sakura Blossom. All are florals on a hand painted satin base. The sets consist of 12 pieces. Top, skirt, glitch pants, tabi socks, pair of zori sandals and base, set of 2 sode (sleeves), 2 different styles of obi, and a kanzashi (golden hair ornament). All mod/ trans except the shoes and hair ornament. The hair in the pictures is available at MAU's and MEJ's. The kimonos are available at Ookami Ningen in Crimson or the Dark Eden mall. The SLURLs are to the right of this blog.

Not exactly new items by Creative Kaoz

These aren't really new but they are cool so I wanted to blog about them. They were never formally released (i.e. blogged about or advertised in any way) so they are kind of new. Anyway Dana Archer has made this Cyber set which is pretty cool -- the set consists of a cloak, the helm and belt. She hasn't finished packaging it as a set yet (get with it Dana!) but the items are avialable separately and are very affordable. The belt comes in both silver and black. The cloak comes in both men's and women's sizes and if your avie is petite (like mine!) she based the small women's size off my avie -- finally a cloak that fits! The helms are similarly available in both men's and women's sizes. Pics below this blurb. They are available at Creative Kaoz in Sylvina or at her shop in the Dark Eden mall (SLURLs to the right of this post).

Men's Cossack Chic by Ookami Ningen (plus other stuff)

I know a lot of people blogged about the Cossack Chic by Ookami Ningen earlier in the month. Zorena was contacted by oogobs of men who wanted to know why she was not showing them the luv. Well gents, its out. The Dashing Cossack for Men by Ookami Ningen.

The next few pics are not necessarily new releases but Zorena is new to the whole advertising thing so think of these as a re-release. The first is the Hellenic Magister formal outfit for men -- although you don't have to wear it to a formal.

However, if you were going to a formal, or perhaps a Night on the Opera, this flexible two-layer cloak, tophat and cane might be just your thing. One thing Zorena does (that many designers are starting to do) is to let you know where the other items she uses in her ads come from. In this case, to compliment the outerwear, her model is wearing the Corinthian Suit from Rose Petal Creations.

Last but certainly not least is the Wolven Embrace cloak sporting Zorena's fabulous fur textures. We were somewhat hesitant to present this in summer but as there is no season in Second Life we figured why not.

All items can be found at Ookami Ningen in Crimson or in her store at the Dark Eden Mall. The SLURL to both places can be found in the right-hand side panel of this blog under the Business Management heading.

New Releases by Vindi Vindaloo

Vindi released a whole bunch of stuff about a week ago but I was lame and did not have my blog done then. So here it is. Of all the pieces, the red and black gown is my favorite. I wore it to the Activ8 Formal that I DJ (link on the right) and got a lot of compliments.

I do believe this blog is live

Welcome to Vivi's new blog. I'll be using this space to post new releases by my clients and to talk about my radio shows and anything else I find interesting. Come on in, grab a cuppa coffee, put up your feet and make yourself comfortable.
